Details
HI! HELLO! WOW! It's been so long since I've sat down to write for the blog! I have to say I've definitely missed the feeling of being inspired! I've been wanting and waiting and wishing for the perfect topic to write about since it's been so long.
While I was thinking about what to write about, I thought about all of things I've been doing lately (blog related: clothes, fashion, accessories, etc.) especially in my everyday life! I came across the idea of details. In today's blog, I'll be referring to accessories, specifically jewelry, as 'details'. Since I work, almost everyday, looking for the smallest details, I've found myself doing that in my everyday outfits. I've started a highlight reel on my Instagram (subtle plug- @charli.c.p) where I show the little details of my outfits for the day. Now I don't do this everyday, mainly because I wear a lot of the same jewelry everyday. But when I do add some accessories, or details, I like to show the world. Maybe inspire someone to create their own details for their outfits. This has always been a goal of mine. I love to inspire or motivate others to create something of their own!
Now, I don't want you to go look at the details I post and feel as though I'm bragging about all of the jewelry I have. In reality, most of it is not even mine. One of the perks of working in the jewelry industry: using the inventory to style your outfit for the day! Plus, my job at the store is to take pictures, to make the jewelry look good (not that it can't do that for itself, because trust me, it always looks good!), and to show the jewelry being worn and styled, in order for the customer to get the full effect! This is why I love my job so much. I get to see all of the little things that come together to add to your outfit. One little ring or one small bracelet is indeed details that shouldn't be counted out. All details are details no matter how small.
I love to think about details in numbers. One big detail could add a lot to something. Or one small detail can add just enough for the outfit to be perfect! Or you could stack rings or necklaces or bracelets to create a new look using LOTS of details!
The point is, I love details. I love accessories. I love that you can elevate an outfit with just a few more details. Details can be the smallest things- as in life. One or two small details have the power to create something special!
