Men’s Fashion

Woah! Let’s read that title again! Men’s fashion? Yup! You read that right. Today we are going to talk about men’s fashion. I want to talk about men’s street fashion and fashion on the runway. But let's start with street fashion.

Street Fashion

Ok so obviously I know more about women’s fashion than men’s, but I am just going to share a few tips that I think always work!

  1. Now, I live in the south, so I see a lot (LOTS) of jeans and boots here. Which of course, there is nothing wrong with that! Personally, I think the cowboy look is always a good choice. BUT know that there are more options than just the country boys wearing country clothes. You can always switch it up.

  2. If the athletic look is more your style, just remember to keep it simple. Steer clear of too many patterns and bright colors. Solid colors that coordinate always look great.

  3. This is for both men and women, so trust me on this. If you are looking to get inspired or just switch up your style, LOOK AROUND! There are so many different fashion styles all around us. Just look around at other people, look online, just know what you think might look good and take and chance on it! That might be your new style!

On the Runway

In the beginning of this blog, I gave you tips, but for this part, I just want to give you a few ideas! Like I have said many times, men's fashion is not my main focus, but I wanted to share what I would like to see on the Runway.

  1. First off, if the runway has the theme of bright colors, I would love to see lots of colored pants. By colored, I mean classic, deep, muted tones of purples and reds. I think that most guys seem to stay away from colors because some see it as too 4th grade boy (if you know what I mean)! I do, however, think a full look with hidden bright colors would look great!

  2. Another trend I would love to see is suits! Now I know that there are lots of men in suits on the runway, but I think we should stick to the classics. Keep the straight lines and the creased folds. Keep the colors neutral, yet bold! Maybe, then, we will see it more in street fashion!

  3. And lastly! I think we should take the runway down south! I think we should have a theme or a brand that strickly focuses on western and southern wear! But remember to keep it classy, I mean, this is the runway after all!

I enjoyed switching it up for a while! I hope you did too!!

with love always,

charli
